Sandra and Steve Coleman have owned and managed the Dent Shoppe in Folsom, CA for six years. “We have been successfully using PDRPro for two years. The program is easy to use and customers love it. “Sometimes several technicians work on the same car. Their services have expanded to a long list of auto related products. A customer may have his bumper repaired, windows tinted and paint touched up in addition to dent work. We can see a breakdown of who did what with the commission amount for each person. This is great for payroll and reporting purposes,” Sandra says.
The bookkeeping aspect is not a favorite pastime for anyone at their shop. “PDRPro lets us streamline our operation. We use the information we gather from customers to help grow the business and be more profitable. All invoices from the shop import easily into QuickBooks, saving many hours of data entry.”
The next step was adding the mobile unit to their field operation. The hand held unit has a small printer and allows the field technician to upload his invoices to the PC at the shop. The field data synchs up to the office data for accuracy and backup. No more double entry of the same information or trying to read handwritten invoices. Sandra says, “This application is the answer to moving our business into the future.”
