Cappuccino Cruisers

The Dent Shoppe has been a longtime sponsor of the volunteer organization, the Cappuccino Cruisers. The Cappuccino Cruisers Classic Car Club/Cruse In was established in 1995 and does not include any membership dues nor are there any club officers.  There are just a lot of friendly people willing to help out when the need arises.  They are a very community oriented group, regularly participating in Orangevale Pow Wow Days, Citrus Heights Red, White& Blue, and Folsom Veteran’s Day parades.  They have been called upon to celebrate grand openings, bridge openings and Folsom Dam’s anniversary as well as many other community events.  They are a proud sponsor of the Folsom Zoo, the Folsom Mounted Patrol, and regularly donate to charities including Mercy Hospital of Folsom, and Twin Lakes Food Bank of Folsom.  They also support the Sunrise Park District’s, “Heart for Parks” scholarship programs.   To learn more about this wonderful organization and its events, check out...

Dent Shoppe Repurposes Metal for Burning Man Project

The Dent Shoppe was happy to donate used hoods and doors from customers’ repairs for a Burning Man project.  The mutant vehicle, Playacuda, has been part of Burning Man art for many years.  Every year the owners make changes to the vehicle to bring smiles and good times to the temporary utopia that is Burning Man.  This new mutation will accommodate about 14 riders with LED lights and unique detailing.  I got a test ride the other day and it is shaping up nicely. The project will be completed by a group of Burning Man regulars who are artists with incredible skills and imagination.  We are happy to participate in helping share the vision of our talented friends.  I will include photos of the finished project from the Playa during the event. Looking forward to fun and adventure with thousands of other socially conscious souls. Stay tuned,...

If you see something, say something

In our busy lives, common curtesy can be overlooked. We teach our children to be honest and take responsibility for our actions. Those same values apply if we accidently bump another vehicle.  Since we are an auto repair facility, we see lots of cars with varying degrees of damage.  Many folks are shocked when they find damage to their vehicle with no indication of what happened. If you bump a car, and the owner is not present, leave a note. If you see someone bump a vehicle, jot down the license plate number and any other description, date and time.  This is considered a hit and run and is against the law. When you see a car accident, if possible, offer to be a witness.  The difference between being charged with an at fault accident or not can depend on one third party witness.  We have seen customers pay up to a $1000 insurance deductible because there was no witness.  We hope you are never in this situation but when accidents occur, we may not think about providing contact information. If you are in an accident, exchange names, phone numbers and vehicle information. You may not notice the damage until later or determine it was more than you thought to repair. Being a good citizen is our duty.  If you travel with children, remind them to be careful when opening car doors. Sometimes damage can’t be avoided.  The Dent Shoppe is here to repair damage to vehicles.  Many jobs can be completed while you wait and perhaps at a lower cost than you think. Feel free to call or stop by during business hours. Photos of damage can also be submitted through our website. -Sandra...

Dent Shoppe Celebrates 13th Anniversary with Charity Week

The Dent Shoppe in Folsom is celebrating 13 years in business with a charity drive for the Twin Lakes Food Bank. During the week of October 10th through 15th, they will be donating 10% of revenues to the Food Bank. Sandra and Gabe run a true family business. They offer a service called paintless dent removal. The technique allows technicians to remove dents and dings without the use of bondo or paint. Most dent removal jobs cost between $75 and $250 and take about an hour. Over the last few years they have expanded their offerings. Sandra added, “We provide expert paint and body work too. Our in-house color matching system allows us to create the correct shade and just the right amount of paint for each job. That saves our customers money.” The Dent Shoppe team can remove dents, repair and paint bumpers, and provide expert body work. They also fix curbed wheels, recondition foggy headlamps and service windshield chips. “Customers love the one stop shop,” said Gabe. “That’s how we differentiate ourselves and add value.” The Dent Shoppe is located at 9521 Greenback Lane at Madison in Folsom. Look for the big purple sign, Paintless Dent Removal. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 2:00pm. No appointment is necessary for a free estimate. They can be reached at (916)...
